Tony
Clean and organized. The staff, although limited in English, made use of a translator which helped in communicating. The location was great, with a nearby bus stop and a short walk to Kyoto Station. there were beautiful gardens and temples in close proximity to the hotel.
There were a couple of drawbacks during my stay. the hotel I was transferred to had a strong smell of smoke and the common areas were not well-maintained.

The staff was friendly and tried their best to communicate with me using a translator. the cleanliness of the hotel was well-maintained, and the rooms were organized. I also found it convenient to have a laundry room available, even though there was a fee for using it. the hotel's location was great, with a nearby bus stop and the Kyoto Station within walking distance. there were beautiful gardens and temples in close proximity to explore.
One major issue I had was that I mistakenly booked a room expecting a private bathroom, but upon arrival, I realized it was a shared bathroom. While the shared bathroom was clean and had a bathtub, it would have been better to have my own.
